Ta'leem Quran Academy helps Somali children learn Quran with a clear goal, the right macalin, flexible scheduling, progress tracking, and parent updates — built for families living in the West.
Many Somali parents in the diaspora want their children to stay connected to Quran, Islam, and Somali values. But it is not always easy.
Busy school schedules that leave little room for dugsi
Children growing up in a different environment
Less connection to traditional dugsi
Parents not knowing if their child is improving
Difficulty finding the right macalin
Children needing more 1-on-1 attention
Family schedules that change often
Wanting Quran learning that fits life in the West
A lot of parents send their children to dugsi, but still do not know:
Ta'leem helps Somali families in the diaspora by giving each child a clear plan and a better learning setup.
Every child should know what they are working toward: hingaad, reading, memorization, revision, or consistency.
Students are matched with a macalin based on their level, need, and learning style.
Class times are built around the student and family schedule.
Attendance and progress are tracked so parents are not left guessing.
Parents receive updates so they know what their child worked on and what comes next.
Most students receive direct support so the macalin can understand their level and needs.
For children starting with letters, sounds, joining, and foundation.
For students who need to improve accuracy, fluency, and confidence.
For students working on new memorization with proper review.
For students who memorized before and need to strengthen what they learned.
For students who need more attention, structure, or a macalin who understands them better.
We learn your child's level, schedule, and Quran goal.
We help find weekly hours and class times that work for your family.
Enrollment is confirmed once payment is collected and confirmed.
